Education Ministry says 90% of PEP students placed in a school of their choice

Over 28,000 registered students, or 90 per cent of those who sat the 2026 Primary Profile (PEP) Examinations, were placed in a school of their choice.
31,565 students were placed following the PEP exams this year.
Education Minister, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon made the disclosure at a PEP results press conference at Jamaica House this morning.
24 per cent got their first choice, 18 per cent got their second choice, 16 per cent got their third choice, 13 per cent got their fourth choice, 11 per cent got their fifth choice, 11 per cent got their sixth choice and 7 per cent got their seventh choice.
