Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says it would cost between five and seven trillion dollars to fully repair Jamaica’s road network.
Speaking at the launch of the SPARK Main Roads Programme this morning, Dr. Holness said the country would have to use its entire budget for five consecutive years to achieve this.
Meantime the Prime Minister said the Government has spent millions on roads over the last decade.
However, he said that due to the magnitude of the work that is needed, many would say they are not feeling the effects.
