Baby boy among 2 killed in motor vehicle crashes in St. Ann and St. James 

A baby boy is one of two people killed in motor vehicle crashes in St. Ann and St. James between last evening and this morning.

Police have identified them as Benjamin Moodie of Whitehouse, St. James and Lenward Fisher of Bellair, Runaway Bay, St. Ann.

In the St. James incident reports are that about 9:10 pm, a motor vehicle was being driven along the Whitehouse main road. 

The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle which hit Moodie and his mother who were sitting outside a house.

They were taken to hospital where the 2-year-old boy succumbed.

In the other incident about 2:30 this morning, Fisher was driving a motor car with 2 other persons aboard along the Runaway Bay main road. 

Police say Fisher lost control of the vehicle which ran off the road, collided with a fence then overturned. 

The injured persons were taken to hospital where Fisher was pronounced dead and the others admitted for treatment. 

These 2 deaths push road fatalities to 182 to date.
