Commissioner of Police Dr. Kevin Blake has emphasized that investing in police personnel is critical to enhancing Jamaica’s crime-fighting capabilities.
Speaking at the Faculty of Criminal Investigation Graduation Training Ceremony yesterday, Dr. Blake highlighted that the new training programmes offered at the National Police College aim to improve the Constabulary’s investigative capacity.
Dr. Blake said the new diplomas in supervisory management and professional detective practice are part of a deliberate strategy to professionalize the Constabulary Force.
