Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says it would cost $5 to 7 trillion to fully repair Jamaica’s road network.
Speaking at the launch of the Spark Main Roads Programme this morning, Dr. Holness said the country would have to use its entire budget for five consecutive years to achieve this.
In the meantime, the Prime Minister said the Government has spent millions on roads in the last decade.
However, he said due to the magnitude of work that is needed, many would say they are not feeling the effects.
