SENSATIONAL MOVE easily won Saturday’s overnight-allowance sprint at Caymanas Park, clocking a fast 57.2 to beat 7-2 market-springer, FREEDOM STREET, denying Joy-Us Racing and trainer Patrick Lynch a two-timer after the jockey-trainer combination had upended the seventh event with 21-1 stunner CHIEF DISSIDENT.

SENSATIONAL MOVE beat FREEDOM STREET by a widening four lengths after toying with United States-bred CHOCOMO and GENERATIONAL for the first three furlongs.

Raddesh Roman made no mistake with SENSATIONAL MOVE after his earlier disqualification aboard WATERMAN JOHN, who lost the fourth in the stewards’ room for repeated interference in the stretch run, committed against second-past-the-post DIMETRY P.

Roman’s infractions cost him valuable ground in his jockeys’ title bid against leading rider Tevin Foster, who booted home a two-timer on the 10-race card edging to 91 winners, four clear of his main challenger.

Robert Halledeen upstaged both title-chasing riders with a three-timer on the 10-race card, opening his tally in the third aboard champion trainer Jason DaCosta’s out-of-class United States-bred EAGLE ONE, who put away $550,000 claimers for the second time within a month at five furlongs straight.

Halledeen closed the programme with a typically strong ride at five furlongs straight astride 3-1 chance NORBLAR, overpowering speedy course-specialist VOLATILITY, who tried making all with Paul Francis.

Ridden out by Halledeen, NORBLAR registered back-to-back wins after beating non-winners of four races at six and a half furlongs two weeks prior.

Racing continues Sunday morning, starting at 11:30 with the Reggae 6 mandatory pay out, which opens with a single-winner bonus of $8.1 million, seeding a possible jackpot pay out of $25 million.
