Global technology brand TCL has donated 100 43″ televisions to support recovery efforts in communities across Jamaica that were most severely impacted by hurricane Melissa.
In a statement, TCL emphasized that the units were selected for their practical value in communal environments such as shelters, schools and community centres.
They will be distributed to communities in the western parishes once conditions allow for their safe and effective use.
Commercial Manager Angel Espinoza stated that the technology will help restore access to information and emergency communications.
