Jamaican international forward Khadija Shaw has been shortlisted for the Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month award for November, following a standout run of performances for Manchester City.
Shaw scored four goals during the month, contributing to City’s three wins, two draws, and one defeat. Among her highlights was a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium, which cemented her place in league history.
The 27-year-old became the Women’s Super League’s all-time record holder for hat-tricks, surpassing teammate Vivianne Miedema. She also achieved a milestone as the first player to score three hat-tricks against the same opponent in the league, with Tottenham her favoured target.
Shaw also found the net in City’s 3-0 triumph over Crystal Palace, marking the club’s 200th Women’s Super League fixture.
Shaw faces competition for the November accolade from Arsenal duo Steph Catley and Alessia Russo, West Ham’s Katrina Gorry, Aston Villa’s Anna Patten, and Chelsea pair Mayra Ramirez and Guro Reiten.

That treble saw the 27-year-old become the record hat-trick scorer in Barclays Women’s Super League history, overtaking teammate Vivianne Miedema.
It also saw Shaw become the first player ever to score three hat-tricks against the same opponent in Barclays Women’s Super League history.
She’s up against Arsenal’s Steph Catley and Alessia Russo, West Ham’s Katrina Gorry, Aston Villa’s Anna Patten as well as Mayra Ramirez and Guro Reiten of Chelsea for the prize.
