Opposition spokesman on National Security Fitz Jackson has called for early arrests and successful prosecution of persons involved in the multi-billion-dollar fraud at Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL).

This in the wake of reports that simultaneous operations were conducted at premises in St James and St. Andrew, today.

They were done by the Financial Investigations Division, Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) and the police.

In a statement, Jackson welcomed the operations, describing the move as necessary, though long overdue.

He acknowledged the role of Jamaicans at home and in the diaspora who persistently called for accountability.
