That is the response from People’s National Party (PNP) President, Mark Golding on whether or not a leadership challenge is on the horizon.
Talks of a challenge for presidency in the party have been ongoing for days on social media.
Party Member Damion Crawford recently dismissed claims that he will challenge Mr. Golding for leadership, noting that the PNP’s constitution only allows for nominations for presidency in 2027.
During a town hall meeting in St. Elizabeth on Wednesday, a PNP supporter asked Mr. Golding to definitively say if reports of a challenge are true.
Mr. Golding’s response implied that there is no challenge.
