Police launch investigation after decomposing body of senior citizen found with his head bashed in

The police have launched an investigation after the decomposing body of a senior citizen was found with his head bashed in at his home, in Kitson Town, St. Catherine yesterday.

Dead is 80-year-old Lascelles Kerr, a farmer of Naseberry Grove.

Police reports are that at around 8:15 A.M., neighbours noticed a foul odour coming from Kerr’s house and alerted the police.

On the arrival of the lawmen, Kerr was seen in a decomposed state, with his head bashed in.

A concrete block and pieces of wood were reportedly found beside Kerr’s body.
