That’s the declaration from Bank of Jamaica’s Head of Financial Inclusion Unit, Dr. Andre Murray, as the Bank unveiled its televised series dubbed, ‘Common Cents with BOJ’.

It is designed to increase financial literacy among Jamaicans.

He also noted that the series will seek to demystify various financial topics.

Dr. Murray said Adtelligent Advertising Agency is responsible for developing and executing the video production series.

Meanwhile, the Bank is slated to launch an online financial educational game called ‘Money Quest’ in April.

Dr. Murray said the game, created through a partnership with Digital Technologies, will target students in grades four to six at the primary level.

It will also incorporate aspects of the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) syllabus.

Dr. Murray was addressing the Bank’s Quarterly press briefing in Kingston on Tuesday.
