The Jamaica Accountability Meter Portal (JAMP) and the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica are set to officially launch two new accountability tools on Friday.
This as part of efforts to strengthen transparency, governance and oversight in Jamaica.
The first is a Public Bodies Tracker which is a digital platform designed to monitor the compliance of Jamaica’s public bodies with the Corporate Governance Framework and key provisions of the Public Bodies Management and Accountability Act.
The other tool is the Sectoral Commitment Tracker – a platform developed to monitor annual commitments made across ministerial portfolios and track progress and delivery.
