The first batch of Ghanaian health professionals is expected to arrive in Jamaica next month.
This as part of a bilateral labour agreement on healthcare cooperation between the two countries.
Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton is leading a delegation to Ghana, where a memorandum of understanding was signed yesterday.
His Ghanaian counterpart, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, noted that the arrangement is expected to create employment opportunities for Ghanaian health workers while promoting skills exchange and strengthening healthcare delivery systems in both countries.
