An international media blitz is being undertaken by tourism stakeholders to boost visitor arrivals post Hurricane Melissa.
The blitz being held at Sandals Ochi Beach in St. Ann began on Monday and runs through Friday.
Several radio stations from the United Kingdom and Canada are broadcasting from the resort and featuring interviews with representatives from Jamaican tourism entities.
Regional Public Relations Manager at Sandals Ochi, Lyndsay Issacs said the initiative is a partnership between Sandals and the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB).
She said the message is that Jamaica is open for business.
