Two men fatally shot during alleged confrontation with police in Sherwood Forest District in Portland

Two men were fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police in Sherwood Forest District, in Portland this morning.
The deceased have not yet been identified.
Police reports indicate that the incident occurred about 5:15 a.m.
It is understood that officers conducted a targeted raid at a house.
Several persons were reportedly at the location.
Reports further indicate that the police were fired on and they returned fire, and the two men were hit.
Two Taurus pistols fitted with ammunition were also seized.
The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigation and the Police Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau.
