Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says Jamaica has the best quality potable water in the region supplied by the National Water Commission (NWC).
Praising the Commission for maintaining this high standard, he said external parties like those in the cruise shipping industry have taken significant interest in the water supplied by the entity.
Dr. Holness said there is great potential to sell water outside of Jamaica, making it a national asset.
He assured that NWC does it’s water quality checks daily across its multiple systems.
Dr. Holness was speaking at the NWC employees long service awards ceremony in Kingston last evening.
