Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) says the system issue which disrupted the processing of motor vehicle registration-related transactions has been resolved.
The issue, which surfaced yesterday, prevented customers from completing transactions in-office and online.
Impacted services included renewal and new motor vehicle registration, the transfer of vehicles, and the purchase of registration plates.
TAJ’s technical team and service providers were engaged to restore full functionality.
In an update this morning, TAJ’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Meris Haughton, noted that the problem was addressed late yesterday.
The Administration says it remains committed to delivering efficient, reliable and accessible service to taxpayers.
