Two charged with murder that allegedly resulted from bar fuss

Two persons have been charged with the murder of a man following an incident at a bar in Parry Town, Ocho Rios, St Ann, on Friday June 21.

The charges arose from an extended police probe into the incident.

The deceased is forty-three-year old Kevin Clarke, a labourer of Parry Town, St Ann.

Charged are 31-year-old Rushane Allen, otherwise called ‘Coco’, a construction worker of Buckfield, Ocho Rios, and a 26-year-old chef, Toriann Pearson, otherwise called ‘Terry’, of Pimento Walk, Ocho Rios, St Ann.

Reports are from the St Ann police are that about 11pm, Clarke got in an altercation with a person in the bar, during which he hit Allen over the head with a bottle and ran.

Clarke was reportedly accosted by onlookers, after which Allen and Pearson allegedly stabbed him multiple times.

Allen then reportedly used a stone to hit Clarke in the head.

Clarke was rushed to the hospital, and was admitted in serious condition.

He was later transferred to another hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, June 23.
