Fifty-four-year-old Donovan Omeally of Grants Pen district, St. Thomas died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision in his community on Thursday, May 09.
Reports from the Yallahs Police are that about 7:45 pm, Omeally was walking along the roadway when he was hit by a Mitsubishi L200 motor truck that was travelling along a section of the South Coast Highway towards Kingston.
He received multiple injuries and was transported to the hospital where death was confirmed. Investigations continue.
