Wet weather did not dampen the spirits of the Access Financial Services (AFS) team members who donned running gear and came out to support the 2024 staging of the Mandeville Police Youth Club 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, April 28.

Now in its seventh year, the event has been raising funds for local charities and community initiatives, including the Mile Gully Basic School, and Mustard Seed Communities.

Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser go to the Psychiatric Ward of the Mandeville Regional Hospital, which is in urgent need of support. In addition to joining the more than 70 participants, AFS employees brought a cheque for $25,000 to support this cause.
