New  West  Indies  spin bowling  sensation Vitel  Lawes   joins Desert Vipers  T20  Franchise

New  West  Indies  spin  bowling  sensation  Vitel  Lawes   has  joined  the   Desert Vipers  T20  Franchise   for  the   Guyana Global Super League.

The  young  Jamaica spinner  replaces  New Zealand  alrounder  Daryl  Mitchell.  

The  18  year  old  Lawes  is  coming  off  a  solid  one  day  international  debut   with  the  West  Indies  team  against  New  Zealand  where  he  captured  8  wickets  in  five  matches.

The Desert Vipers will be the last team to begin their tournament campaign, facing the Lahore Qalandars on Friday  the second day of the competition. 

USA top-order batter Saiteja Mukkamalla is  also  into  the  Vipers  Squad  as  replacement  for  Khuzaima Bin Tanveer  of  the  UAE.
