Integrity Commission reports 87% compliance rate with statutory declaration requirement for 2025/2026 period

The Director of Information and Complaints at the Integrity Commission, Joeth James, says there was an 87 per cent compliance rate with the statutory declaration requirement for the 2025/2026 period.
Speaking at an Integrity Commission press conference today, Ms. James said this is an increase from the 50 per cent recorded in 2018.
She said this is an indication that public officials are filing their statutory declarations.
Ms. James said there was a backlog of 150, 000 statutory declarations.
