Shortly after ‘touch down’, the digital creator duo, Taccara Rae – whose primary focus is beauty and fashion – and her musician hubby Yinka ‘Lamboginny’ Lawanson, went gung-ho at popular Jamaican haunts.

The first stop, on Thursday night, was Northside Plaza for pan chicken ‘straight from the airport’.

The foodies spared nothing, and even went around the counter to help themselves to the smoked chicken, touted as the ‘number one chicken in the world’ by the zealous vendors.

Less than 24 hours later, Ling and Lamb pulled up to a KFC in Kingston to get a bite of the world-famous chicken.

Of course, the highlight of the Reels was the chicken, but a second highlight was Ling and Lamb announcing they would ‘feed everybody inside this KFC’…the crowd went wild.

And, when it came down to ‘Jamaican KFC’, they were seemingly speechless, but only for the time it took to savour the first bite.

‘Oh. My. God…what? Lamb, I love this one!’ Ling said in between bites of her spicy chicken leg.

‘There is something about the Jamaican KFC…’, Lamb started. Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton, uttered similar sentiment when they broke their feud to share KFC in Montego Bay.

Lamb went on to say ‘…this is the best KFC in the world, I have never tasted anything like this in my life’.

They ordered more chicken, too – what appears to be a bucket of chicken – and enjoyed BBQ, Hot & Spicy, and Original pieces of chicken before the Instagram Reels ended.

The moniker Ling and Lamb represents the American-Nigerian TikTok, and YouTube channels created by Taccara Rae, and Yinka Lawanson. Together, they produce Storytime, a vlog talk series on relationships and marriages.

Together, they have over 1.2 million followers, and individually, Rae has close to 100k followers, and Lawanson has close to 400k followers.

Food is their love language, and their biggest hit to date on YouTube is a video detailing Ling’s first time – you guessed it – grubbin’ on Nigerian food.
