Atelier Dermoth Williams Limited, the authorised franchise holder of the Miss Universe pageant in Jamaica has announced that the Miss Universe Jamaica Grand Coronation 2024 finals will take place on July 28, 2024, at the AC Marriott Hotel in Kingston.

The firm, along with their Uzuri International brand has successfully transformed the Miss Universe Jamaica brand into more than just a beauty pageant.

The Grand Coronation was previously postponed due to the recent passage of Hurricane Beryl. But the dates are in for the new date and venue as organizers anticipate a spectacle on July 28.

Making a special guest appearance at this coronation is Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios, the reigning queen, who hails from Nicaragua.

Palacios, along with the esteemed members of the Miss Universe committee, will decide the new Miss Universe Jamaica.

Dr Terri Karelle Johnson and Joel Nomdarkham are billed as hosts of the proceedings, and entertainment to be provided by Gem Myers, TikTok sensation Rajesh (no, not the chef), and reggae artiste Jaz Elise.

The newly christened Dr Jordanne Lauren Levy – who’s officially a medical doctor – will assist in the crowning of a new queen, Miss Universe Jamaica 2024.

The MUJ training program is known to equip contestants with executive and life skills for corporate and social success, enabling them to contribute to their country.

It also promotes a movement that supports national development by providing young Jamaican women with opportunities for economic independence.

Additionally, they uncover local talent in the performing arts and create opportunities within the creative industries.

They also enhance charity outreach in the beauty, fashion, and wellness sectors, giving back to less fortunate Jamaicans through the Altruism and GOGETTER initiatives.
